What you'll do

Responsibilities

Clinical Engineering Management and Strategy

Define and coordinate the corporate strategy for maintenance of medical and general equipment.

Organize and manage the maintenance of the technology fleet, both with in-house resources and external suppliers.

Optimize the useful life of medical-surgical and general equipment across the facilities.

Preventive and Corrective Maintenance

Define the characteristics of maintenance plans by equipment type, establishing standards, optimal costs, and quality criteria.

Monitor the proper execution of preventive maintenance in hospitals and centers, minimizing breakdowns and downtime.

Manage repairs of medical equipment in accordance with manufacturer protocols and safety and usage standards.

Supplier and Contract Management

Participate in the design, negotiation, and monitoring of maintenance contracts with subcontractors.

Oversee supplier performance, ensuring compliance with agreed service levels, quality, and costs.

Budget and Financial Control

Manage and control the corporate Clinical Engineering budget.

Track spending, analyze deviations, and propose efficiency improvements.

Support for Investments and Technology Renewal

Advise the organization on the acquisition of new medical equipment.

Collaborate in defining technical specifications, evaluating bids, and making investment decisions.

Leadership and Coordination

Lead and coordinate Clinical Engineering teams, fostering professional development, process standardization, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Act as the technical reference for the centers.
