ACCIONA, in its Construction business line, needs to hire a Highways and Bridges Construction Manager to work in its Specialized Business Unit based in Madrid.
Mission: Technical-construction support in the Highways and Bridges area for assigned bids and awarded projects, under the supervision of the SBU team leader.
- Provide technical-construction support in the highways and bridges area for the development of bids and awarded works of major international scope.
- Value engineering, study of alternatives and design optimization
- Construction methods and heavy auxiliary equipment in highway and bridge construction
- Execution plan, scheduling, productivity rates for the singular highway and bridge units
- Specialized technical support for claims or contractual disputes
- Technical support for the procurement of specialized highway and bridge construction elements and equipment
- Attendance at meetings with clients, designers, specialized subcontractors/suppliers
- Possibility of joining the execution team once a project under study is awarded
