Mechanical/Industrial Engineering Internship - Mechanical Design (FEM)

At Sener Energía we support our clients in projects that enable them to achieve maximum efficiency in the transition towards a sustainable, low-emission energy model, through innovation and technology.

We are currently offering a paid scholarship at Sener, for a minimum of 6 months, within the Product Design and Simulation department to participate in structural analysis projects for mechanical equipment in Renewable Energy Plants.

• Carry out mechanical design and structural analysis activities applying FEM tools for renewable energy projects (concentrated solar power, photovoltaic, wind energy, H2, CO2 capture, etc.) and industrial projects:

• Global analyses to verify the overall structural behavior and detail analyses to assess specific components.

• Nonlinear analyses with contacts.

• Fatigue analyses.

• Participate in defining manufacturing drawings and monitoring the manufacturing process.

• Develop tools (scripts) to automate modeling.

• Prepare structural reports.

• Be in the final year of a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering and be able to sign a Collaboration Agreement with the university during the academic year.

• Advanced English B2-C1.

• Ability to synthesize ideas and communicate them through written documents or graphics.

• Good personal organization skills for managing work and tasks.

• Initiative and proactivity when proposing different approaches and points of view.

En Sener Energía acompañamos a nuestros clientes en proyectos que les permitan lograr la máxima eficiencia en la transición hacia un modelo energético sostenible y de bajas emisiones, a través de la innovación y de la tecnología.

En estos momentos, en Sener ofrecemos una beca remunerada, de mínimo 6 meses, dentro del departamento de Diseño y Simulación de Producto para participar en proyectos de análisis estructurales de equipos mecánicos en Plantas de Energía Renovables.

• Desarrollar actividades de diseño mecánico y análisis estructural aplicando herramientas FEM para proyectos de energía renovables (energía termosolar, fotovoltaica, energía eólica, H2, captura de CO2, etc.) y proyectos industriales:

• Análisis globales para comprobar el comportamiento global de estructura y de detalle para analizar componentes particulares.

• Análisis no lineales con contactos.

• Análisis de fatiga.

• Participar en la definición de planos de fabricación y seguimiento de la fabricación.

• Desarrollar herramientas (scripts) para automatizar modelización.

• Realizar informes estructurales.

• Estar cursando el último curso del Grado/Master en Ingeniería Industrial o Mecánica y poder realizar un Convenio de Colaboración con la Universidad durante el curso académico.

• Inglés alto B2-C1.

• Capacidad para la síntesis de ideas y comunicación de las mismas a través de escritos o gráficos.

• Buena capacidad de organización personal del trabajo y de la gestión de sus tareas.

• Iniciativa y proactividad, a la hora de proponer diferentes enfoques y puntos de vista.
