MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Job description

Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on the company's facilities and machinery, ensuring the operability and efficiency of production equipment.

What you'll do

  • Preventive Maintenance: Execute established preventive maintenance plans for machinery and facilities, following defined procedures and deadlines. This includes lubrication, cleaning, adjustments, and periodic inspections.
  • Corrective Maintenance: Diagnose and repair breakdowns and faults in machinery and facilities quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime. This may involve replacing parts, repairing components, or making necessary adjustments.
  • Mechanics: Perform general mechanical interventions on machinery, such as assembling and disassembling equipment, adjusting parts, and repairing mechanical systems (transmissions, bearings, etc.).
  • Electricity: Carry out industrial electrical work, including repairing electrical panels, replacing electrical components, diagnosing faults in circuits and wiring, and maintaining basic control systems.
  • Pneumatics and Hydraulics: Work on pneumatic and hydraulic systems, performing repairs, adjustments, and preventive maintenance to ensure their proper operation.
  • Welding and Fabrication: Perform basic welding work (electrode, wire) and small fabrications or modifications of metal parts as required by maintenance needs.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints and technical diagrams to guide maintenance interventions.
