Security Infrastructure Operations Technician Level 2

Thales S21sec is looking for a Security Infrastructure Operations Technician Level 2 to join the team, where you will participate in the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of critical security environments, working with leading market technologies.

• Management and resolution of incidents and requests through ServiceNow (ticket-based model).
• Operation and support of security infrastructures in a corporate environment.
• Administration of security platforms:
  • Firewalls: Fortinet, Check Point, Palo Alto, Forcepoint.
  • Secure web gateway: Skyhigh Secure Web Gateway, Zscaler ZIA.
  • Secure remote access (VPN): F5 BIG-IP, Zscaler.
  • WAF: F5 BIG-IP, VMware AVI.
  • NAC (Network Access Control): Aruba ClearPass.
  • Secure email / antispam: Microsoft EOP (Exchange Online Protection) and Proofpoint.
  • Digital certificate management (issuance, troubleshooting).
  • Others.
• Execution of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Participation in continuous improvement activities:
  • Automation of operational tasks.
  • Scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash, among others).
  • Integrations between platforms.
  • Optimization of configurations and processes.
• Monitoring of services and proactive analysis of incidents.
• Technical documentation and operational procedures.

• Previous experience with any of the mentioned vendors.
• Certifications in security technologies (Fortinet, Check Point, Palo Alto, F5, Aruba, etc.).
• Experience in enterprise environments or SOC/NOC.
• Knowledge of APIs and integrations.

• Location: Basque Country (residency in the area is mandatory).

• Experience: 2-3 years in security infrastructure operations (N1/N2).
• Education: Higher Degree (FP Grado Superior) in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Knowledge of:
  • Administration of firewalls and security policies.
  • Proxy environments and secure browsing.
  • VPNs
  • Email security (EOP, Proofpoint, or other similar solutions).
  • Digital certificates and PKI.
  • Network monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with ticketing tools (ideally ServiceNow).
• Basic knowledge of scripting or automation.
• Ability to work in a team, service-oriented mindset, and problem-solving skills.

Thales S21sec selecciona un/a Técnic@ N2 de Operación de Infraestructuras de Seguridad donde participará en la operación, mantenimiento y mejora continua de entornos críticos de seguridad, trabajando con tecnologías líderes del mercado.

• Gestión y resolución de incidencias y peticiones a través de ServiceNow (modelo orientado a tickets).
• Operación y soporte de infraestructuras de seguridad en entorno empresarial.
• Administración de plataformas de seguridad:
  • Firewalls: Fortinet, Check Point, Palo Alto, Forcepoint.
  • Navegación segura: Skyhigh Secure Web Gateway, Zscaler ZIA.
  • Acceso remoto seguro (VPN): F5 BIG-IP, Zscaler.
  • WAF: F5 BIG-IP, VMware AVI.
  • NAC (Network Access Control): Aruba ClearPass.

• Ejecución de tareas de mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo.
• Participación en actividades de mejora continua:
  • Automatización de tareas operativas.
  • Scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash, u otros).
  • Integraciones entre plataformas.
  • Optimización de configuraciones y procesos.
• Monitorización de servicios y análisis proactivo de incidencias.

• Experiencia previa con alguno de los fabricantes mencionados.
• Certificaciones en tecnologías de seguridad (Fortinet, Check Point, Palo Alto, F5, Aruba, etc.).
• Experiencia en entornos enterprise o SOC/NOC.
• Conocimientos de APIs e integraciones.

• Ubicación: País Vasco (imprescindible residencia en la zona).

• Formación: FP Grado Superior en Informática, Telecomunicaciones o similar.
• Conocimientos en:
  • Administración de firewalls y políticas de seguridad.
  • Entornos de proxy y navegación segura.

  • Seguridad de correo electrónico (EOP, Proofpoint u otras soluciones similares).
  • Certificados digitales y PKI.
  • Monitorización y troubleshooting de red.
