About the role

To continue providing first-class service, we are looking for a RESTAURANT WAITER/WAITRESS to join our team at the ABBA San Sebastián Hotel. What you'll do

Main Duties:

  • Customer service: Provide excellent and personalized service, ensuring a memorable experience for our guests.
  • Food and beverage service: Carry out food and beverage sales and service with the utmost professionalism.
  • Cocktail preparation: For the bar and terrace.
  • Dining room setup: Organize and prepare the assigned area for service, leaving it ready for the next shift.
  • Setup and dismantling: Carry out the setup and dismantling of services in the restaurant, function rooms, breakfast area, bar-cafeteria, among others.
  • Waste management: Handle and segregate waste from the dining room area, taking it to the appropriate containers.
  • Cleaning: Keep necessary items clean, such as cutlery, glassware, coffee maker, carts, etc.

  • Area maintenance: Keep the dining room, terrace, function rooms, and other food and beverage sales areas in perfect condition.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in restaurants / hotel bars.
  • Experience in cocktail preparation (e.g., Mojito, Margarita, etc.)
  • Good level of English and Spanish; Basque is a plus.
  • Positive attitude, customer service skills, and a desire to sell.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Good attitude and customer relations.
  • Knowledge of dining room service.
  • Organization and cleanliness in the work area.
  • Knowledge of waste management and sustainability.
  • Hospitality training and English knowledge are a plus.
