About the role

Our Mining Area Engineers are responsible for ensuring the proper management and monitoring of technical and safety aspects of the mining operation, carrying out the control, inspection, and analysis activities necessary to maintain the mine's operating conditions, promote a strong safety culture, and support the achievement of the organization's production and strategic objectives.

What you'll do

·You will be in charge of tasks related to surveying (control of the mine geometry, gallery directions, and dimensional control of pillars)

·You will carry out geology work (control of mineral and salt grades) and geotechnics (quality and control of floors and roofs)

·You will monitor and control mine infrastructure (pumps, conveyor belts, abandoned areas, ventilation, Wi-Fi coverage, equipment safety)

·You will coordinate with the Maintenance Department to ensure and improve the availability of machinery and equipment

·You will combine these technical tasks with safety-related duties, carrying out inspections in the mine.

Requirements

Education in Mining Engineering or a Degree in Geology, Engineering, or a related field
