At Preventium we are looking to bring in an intermediate PRL Technician - Shutdowns Technician to take part in a major reference industrial project located in Tarragona.

What you'll do

What will your mission be?

As a PRL Technician - Shutdowns Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety standards during maintenance work and scheduled plant shutdowns, contributing to risk prevention and compliance with current regulations.

Main duties

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise safety activities during scheduled plant shutdowns.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Risk Prevention regulations and established internal procedures.
  • Identify, evaluate, and control risks associated with the various activities carried out on site.
  • Coordinate business activities between contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Carry out safety inspections and verify the correct implementation of preventive measures.
  • Manage work permits and associated preventive documentation for interventions.
  • Prepare monitoring reports and safety indicators.
  • Promote a strong preventive culture, providing technical advice on occupational health and safety.

Requirements

  • Higher Level Training Cycle in Occupational Risk Prevention or a Master's in PRL.
  • Previous experience performing similar functions in industrial environments (3 years).
  • Knowledge of Business Activity Coordination (CAE) and safety management during plant shutdowns.
  • Planning, organization, and priority management skills.
  • Communication and teamwork skills.
