What you'll do

We are looking to hire an Environmental Consultant in Remediation in Tenerife with experience in soil and groundwater investigations and remediation. 

  • Planning and execution of soil and groundwater investigations, including boreholes and sampling.
  • Ensuring the chain of custody and coordinating the shipment of samples to laboratories.
  • Processing and analyzing data to assess contamination and writing technical reports with traceability.
  • Support in remediation activities and monitoring during the remediation process.
  • Coordination with the Project Manager and the Project Director regarding progress and risks.
  • Compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, managing technical documentation.
  • Participation in multiple projects, prioritizing tasks and maintaining technical quality.
  • Interaction with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Degree in Biology, Environmental Sciences, or a related field. 
  • Availability to travel between islands.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills. 
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office; GIS knowledge is desirable. 
  • Valid driver's license and availability to drive to different sites within the island.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position (will be evaluated at the start of employment through a medical examination)
  • Knowledge of environmental legislation and environmental impact assessment.
  • Intermediate level of English (spoken and written) will be positively valued.
