About the role

AECOM, one of the world's leading engineering and consulting firms, is seeking an Acoustic Consultant to join our Acoustics team in our Madrid office. Our typical projects include, among others, environmental noise assessments for new transport infrastructure, noise control recommendations for industrial sites including data centers, as well as support for the design of offices and airports.

The work to be carried out generally consists of:

  • Carrying out noise and vibration measurement campaigns.
  • Acoustic simulations and environmental noise studies using CadnaA and Soundplan models.
  • Preparing technical reports and coordinating information with other AECOM departments.
  • Using GIS tools.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with the following profile:

  • A university degree is required, along with at least 5 years of experience in environmental acoustics projects.
  • A C1 level of spoken and written English is required.
  • Proficiency in environmental acoustic simulation software and ArcGIS tools is essential.
  • Driver's license.
  • Availability to travel.
  • Professional experience in architectural acoustics and vibration studies will be valued.
