Mechanical Design Engineer (UAVs)

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer whose main role will be the development and research of defense systems, from the preliminary phase to industrialization.

• Mechanical design and creation of manufacturing drawings

• Management of bills of materials (BOM) and checklists

• Selection of commercial off-the-shelf components

• Development of design documentation

• Supervision of manufacturing, assembly and commissioning

• Creation of test plans, support and supervision of system testing

• SolidWorks or other similar CAD software

• Knowledge of composite materials

• Design of flight components for multirotors and low-weight fixed-wing aircraft

• 2 - 5 years of experience

• Previous experience with UAVs, acquired professionally or as a hobby

• Previous experience in the defense sector will be valued

• Knowledge of electronics and use of equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc. will be valued

• Knowledge of project management will be valued

• Knowledge of the defense sector and design and testing standards (MIL-STD, STANAG) will be valued

• Bachelor's degree / Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar

• Advanced English is required

The position is based at our offices in Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid).

Buscamos un/a Ingeniero/a Mecánico/a cuyo rol principal consistirá en el desarrollo e investigación de sistemas de defensa, desde la fase preliminar hasta la industrialización.

• Diseño mecánico y creación de planos de fabricación

• Supervisión de listas de materiales (BOM) y checklists

• Selección de componentes comerciales

• Desarrollo de documentación de diseño

• Supervisión de fabricación, montaje y puesta en marcha

• Creación de planes de ensayo, asistencia y supervisión de pruebas de sistemas

• SolidWorks u otros programas CAD similares

• Conocimiento de materiales compuestos

• Diseño de partes de vuelo para multirrotores y aeronaves de ala fija de bajo peso

• 2 - 5 años de experiencia

• Experiencia previa en UAVs, adquirida profesionalmente o como hobby

• Se valorará experiencia previa en el sector defensa

• Se valorará conocimiento de electrónica y uso de equipos como fuentes de alimentación, osciloscopios, multímetros, etc.

• Se valorará conocimiento en gestión de proyectos

• Se valorará conocimiento del sector defensa y normativa de diseño y ensayo (MIL-STD, STANAG)

• Grado universitario / Máster en Ingeniería Mecánica, Ingeniería Industrial, Aeronáutica o similar

• Inglés avanzado imprescindible
