About the role

Looking for new challenges in a constantly evolving world? At STEF, European leader in temperature-controlled transport and food logistics, we feed millions of people across Europe every day. Like our 25,000 employees who already trust us, join an adventure where you can thrive daily in a friendly atmosphere.

You will work within IMMOSTEF, the real estate subsidiary of the STEF Group, a European leader in temperature-controlled transport and food logistics. The Group has chosen to own its buildings (logistics platforms and warehouses), operates more than 325 sites across Europe, and makes its infrastructure mastery a strategic lever to guarantee service quality, food safety, and the performance of its supply chain.

This role is an opportunity to work on complex industrial projects, combining real estate, energy, automation, safety, and logistics operations in an international environment.

Within the framework of the development and modernization of STEF Group's cold storage logistics platforms in Spain and Portugal, you will act as the project owner's representative on highly technical industrial real estate projects. Cold storage warehouses are critical facilities whose electrical performance directly impacts the continuity of the cold chain, food safety, and the operational availability of the sites.

What you'll do

  • Contributing to defining the technical requirements of future warehouses and logistics platforms.
  • Analyzing and validating studies carried out by external design firms.
  • Contributing to electrical architecture choices for LV and HV installations, taking into account the specific constraints of cold storage buildings.
  • Ensuring technical follow-up of companies involved in the projects.
  • Participating in site meetings and ensuring compliance with costs, deadlines, and execution quality.
  • Verifying the proper installation of electrical equipment, backup systems, and safety infrastructure.
  • Supporting the testing, commissioning, and handover phases of the installations.
  • Managing or supervising the electrical installations powering refrigeration equipment.
  • Monitoring fire detection, automatic suppression, access control, and video surveillance systems.
  • Participating in defining power continuity solutions.
  • Ensuring the reliability of critical infrastructure for the operation of temperature-controlled warehouses.
  • Contributing to improving the energy efficiency of sites, a major challenge for cold storage buildings with particularly high electrical consumption.
  • Participating in integrating innovative solutions to reduce the environmental footprint of the platforms.
  • Supporting the deployment of projects incorporating high-performance equipment.
  • Working on projects located in Spain and Portugal, in coordination with local operations teams, technical partners, and external service providers.
  • Promoting the dissemination of technical standards and best practices across the Iberian Peninsula.
  • Providing regular reporting to the real estate management and project stakeholders.
