We need you for the “materials for energy storage” line within the Advanced Materials Area at CETIM with experience as a laboratory technician.

The offered position will consist of:

Execution of research work in the field of electrochemical cells and materials for energy storage:
Preparation of reagents, solutions, and materials for testing
Synthesis of materials for electrochemical cells
Development of inks and assembly of cells
Synthesis of tailor-made porous materials
Physicochemical, morphological, and electrochemical characterization
Operation, calibration, and maintenance of chemical and electrochemical laboratory equipment, including glove boxes and potentiostats.
Support in the preparation and setup of electrochemical experiments, following protocols and collaborating in the development of new protocols.
Preparation of quick guides for new equipment and review of those for existing equipment
Recording of data, results, and incidents.
Inventory control of materials, reagents, and raw materials, and collaboration in purchasing.
Application of good laboratory practices, health and safety procedures, and waste management

Holding a higher-level vocational training degree in industrial chemistry, analysis and quality control, or a related field.
Practical experience in chemical and/or analytical laboratories
Previous experience in electrochemical laboratories is highly valued.
Valuable experience in laboratory management
Experience in experimental work, its planning, and execution in the aforementioned environment.
