About the role

We are looking for a Controller to join our Finance team.

Your mission will be to ensure a unique, reliable, and consistent analytical view of the Group's results, enabling Management to make decisions with insight and impact on the income statement. The Corporate Controller is the link between the subsidiaries and the parent company: consolidates, challenges, and explains the business, anticipates risks and opportunities on the annual results, and proposes the necessary levers to ensure the achievement of objectives.

This is a position with a complete view of the Group: cosmetics and pharma, all subsidiaries, and all corporate areas. It combines the analytical side of consolidation, margins, profitability... with a real project component. It is a role with visibility, with direct interaction with corporate area managers and country controllers.

What you'll do

Functions

1. Planning and Budgeting

* Coordination of the annual budgeting cycle and quarterly closing estimates.

* Preparation of budgets for corporate service areas.

* Analytical consolidation of the subsidiaries' budget information.

2. Monthly closings and reporting

* Closing of corporate service areas, with analysis of variances against budget and against the previous year.

* Analytical consolidation of the subsidiaries' closing income statements and their analysis.

* Monthly reporting and monitoring of key management indicators (KPIs).

3. Controlling functions

* Margin control by business unit, reference (SKU), channel, and country.

* Monitoring of commercial policies (prices, discounts, and terms) and of advertising and promotion (A&P) investments, as well as general expenses and corporate service areas.

* Profitability analysis by brand, category, and channel.

* Preparation and evaluation of business cases.

4. Projects, systems, and continuous improvement

*Design, management, and monitoring of ongoing management control projects.

*Deployment, monitoring, and control of their implementation in the subsidiaries.

*Maintenance and evolution of the analytical model in the business intelligence tool (Tableau).

*Automation and standardization of analytical closing processes.

5. Business partnering and responsibility for the Group's analytical P&L

*Reference contact for corporate service areas and support for decision-making.

*Functional supervision, support, and training for the Group's subsidiary controllers, ensuring the homogeneous application of criteria and methodology.

*Responsibility for the Group's analytical income statement: ensuring the robustness of the analytical model, ensuring traceability between the information received and the analytical view, identifying and quantifying risks and opportunities on results, and proposing action plans to ensure the achievement of objectives.
