• Leadership & Team Collaboration: Lead and mentor the Credit Control Specialist (one person will report directly to you), while coordinating with the Finance team.
• Develop & Enforce Credit Control Policies: Improve and implement strategies to ensure efficient receivables management, such as process automation.
• Monitor & Manage Outstanding Balances: Ensure timely payments and proactively address overdue accounts.
• Credit Risk Analysis: Evaluate customer solvency using financial statements and rating agency data to determine appropriate credit terms.
• Client Dispute Resolution & Negotiation: Work closely with clients to resolve disputes and establish favorable payment terms.
• Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular updates on debtors, aged debt, and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
• Internal Coordination: Work with internal departments to resolve billing and invoicing issues efficiently.
• Credit Insurance Management: Assess and onboard the best credit insurance solutions when necessary.

We're currently looking for a Senior Credit Controller to oversee the Accounts Receivable function, ensuring efficient management of company receivables.

• Background in Finance or Accounting. Relevant qualifications preferred.
• Proven Credit Control Experience (3-5 years in a similar role).
• Expertise in Credit Risk & Financial Reporting (Strong understanding of credit risk management and financial analysis).
• Leadership & Negotiation Skills: Ability to lead a team, negotiate effectively, and work well under pressure.
• Advanced Excel & BI Tools: Experience with Power BI, QlikView, or similar tools.
• Fluent in Spanish and English. Additional languages are a plus!
• Thrives in a Dynamic Environment. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural team.
