Health and Safety Senior Technician

The EMSE department has an opening for an HSE Process Safety Manager. He/she will report to the HSE&LP Senior Manager.

Reporting to the HSE&LP Manager, he/she will promote Safety, Hygiene, Health and respect for the Environment through HSE management systems, while ensuring compliance with the legal requirements applicable at the site, within his/her scope of responsibility.

MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Act as a technician of the company's own Prevention Service, covering the disciplines of Safety, Hygiene and Ergonomics, and complying with Law 31/1995 and the plant's Prevention Plan.
• Develop the plant's prevention standards in accordance with current regulations and the guidelines created by the head office.
• Ensure legal compliance in the handling, processing and storage of flammable and chemical products (ATEX, APQ).
• Apply risk assessment methodologies for processes, machinery and work equipment.
• Investigate any accidents that may occur, carry out the follow-up and the resulting preventive plan.
• Keep the Self-Protection Plan up to date and act as the point of contact with the authorities.
• Act as the main liaison with the insurance company, evaluating Loss Prevention requirements and leading their implementation.
• Lead the Construction Safety program and ensure compliance with Royal Decree 1627/1997 in construction projects.
• Ensure legal compliance in the Coordination of Business Activities (CAE) and participate in the approval of contractors.
• Participate in the HSE programs of the in-house Prevention Service, developing and executing preventive action plans.
• Collaborate in risk assessments, work permits and internal training in Safety and Hygiene.
• Participate in change management processes and new projects, validating legal and safety requirements.
   

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• University degree in a scientific/technical field.
• Higher Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention, with Safety and Hygiene being essential.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Prevention Technician in an industrial environment, in the chemical or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Advanced English level.
• User-level computer skills (MS Office).

El departamento EMSE abre una vacante para HSE Process Safety Manager. El/ella reportará al HSE&LP Senior Manager.

En dependencia del HSE&LP Manager, promoverá la Seguridad, Higiene, Salud y respeto por el Medioambiente a través de los sistemas de gestión HSE, a la vez que dará cumplimiento a los requisitos legales de aplicación en el centro, dentro de su ámbito de responsabilidad.

MISION Y RESPONSABILIDADES

Sus principales responsabilidades serán:

• Actuar como técnico/a del Servicio de Prevención Propio, cubriendo las disciplinas de Seguridad, Higiene e Ergonomia y cumpliendo con la Ley 31/1995 y el Plan de Prevención de la planta.
• Elaborar los estándares de prevención de la planta de acuerdo con las normativas vigentes y las guías creadas por la central.
• Asegurar el cumplimiento legal en la manipulación, procesado y almacenamiento de productos inflamables y químicos (ATEX, APQ).
• Aplicar metodologías de evaluación de riesgos de procesos, máquinas y equipos de trabajo.
• Investigar los accidentes que puedan ocurrir, realizar el seguimiento y plan preventivo resultante
• Mantener actualizado el Plan de Autoprotección y ser el punto de contacto con la administración.
• Ser el interlocutor principal con la compañía aseguradora, evaluando requerimientos de Loss Prevention y liderando su implementación.
• Liderar el programa de Construction Safety y asegurar el cumplimiento del RD 1627/1997 en proyectos de obra.
• Garantizar el cumplimiento legal en Coordinación de Actividades Empresariales (CAE) y participar en la homologación de contratas.
• Participar en los programas HSE del SPP, desarrollando y ejecutando planes de acción preventivos.
• Colaborar en evaluaciones de riesgos, permisos de trabajo y formación interna en Seguridad e Higiene.
• Participar en procesos de control de cambios y nuevos proyectos, validando requisitos legales y de seguridad.
   

EL CANDIDATO IDEAL

• Titulación universitaria científico/técnica.
• Técnico/a Superior en PRL, imprescindible en Seguridad e Higiene.
• Experiencia mínima como técnico de Prevención de 5 años en entorno industrial, en sectores químico o farmacéutico,.
• Inglés nivel alto.
• Ofimática nivel usuario (MS Office)
