AWS Platform Engineer

Who are we and what is your challenge?

In our team, we don't migrate servers to the cloud; we design the future of cloud infrastructure on a global scale.

We face a massive engineering challenge: unifying multiple complex cloud platforms, standardizing security and network governance, and building RouteOne, our new state-of-the-art platform based on Kubernetes on AWS. Additionally, you will actively participate in the development of our own Cloud Management Engine (Control Plane).

We are looking for four AWS Platform Engineers (Senior and Principal levels) who want to lead this transformation, creating robust, secure, and 100% automated architectures.

🛠️ What will you do on a day-to-day basis?

Integrated into a multidisciplinary Agile squad (5-8 people) and working in 2-week Sprints, your responsibilities will focus on four pillars:

• Platform & Governance: Design and evolve our AWS Landing Zones and manage complex Multi-Account and Multi-Organization environments.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop, maintain, and evangelize the use of reusable and scalable Terraform modules to automate 100% of the infrastructure.

• Advanced Networking: Design secure network architectures (Ingress/Egress), traffic segmentation, corporate DNS management, and intra-cloud and cross-cloud connectivity using Transit Gateway (TGW), Route53, and Direct Connect.

• Cloud Security & IAM: Define unified identity models, implement PAM (Privileged Access Management) solutions, and code automated guardrails to ensure compliance-ready environments.

• Programming skills in Python or Golang (key for our Control Plane).

• Experience and knowledge in container environments with Kubernetes (EKS).

• Previous experience in the financial sector, banking, or highly regulated corporate environments.

Essential Requirements (Must Have):

• Advanced Cloud Experience: Solid track record designing and implementing complex architectures on AWS at an enterprise level.

• Terraform Mastery: We are not looking for someone who just uses Terraform to deploy; we need someone who knows how to design and build their own modules from scratch.

• AWS Networking & Security: Real experience with VPCs, TGW, advanced IAM, SCPs, and automation of security policies.

• CI/CD Culture: Native automation of deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).

• Languages: Fluent English (minimum B2 high / C1). You will work daily in an international environment with engineers, architects, and Product Owners from around the world.

Integrado/a en un squad Agile multidisciplinar (5-8 personas) y trabajando en Sprints de 2 semanas, tus responsabilidades se centrarán en cuatro pilares:

• Platform & Governance: Diseñar y evolucionar nuestras AWS Landing Zones y gestionar entornos complejos Multi-Account y Multi-Organization.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Desarrollar, mantener y evangelizar el uso de módulos de Terraform reutilizables y escalables para automatizar el 100% de la infraestructura.

• Advanced Networking: Diseñar arquitecturas de red seguras (Ingress/Egress), segmentación de tráfico, gestión de DNS corporativo y conectividad intra-cloud y cross-cloud utilizando Transit Gateway (TGW), Route53 y Direct Connect.

• Cloud Security & IAM: Definir modelos de identidad unificados, implementar soluciones PAM (Privileged Access Management) y codificar guardrails automáticos para garantizar entornos compliance-ready.

Sumas puntos si tienes (Nice to Have):

• Habilidad programando en Python o Golang (clave para nuestro Control Plane).

• Experiencia y conocimiento en entornos de contenedores con Kubernetes (EKS).

• Experiencia previa en el sector financiero, banca o entornos corporativos altamente regulados.

• Experiencia Cloud Avanzada: Sólida trayectoria diseñando e implementando arquitecturas complejas en AWS a nivel empresarial.

• Mastery en Terraform: No buscamos a alguien que solo use Terraform para desplegar; necesitamos que sepas diseñar y construir módulos propios desde cero.

• Networking & Seguridad AWS: Experiencia real con VPCs, TGW, IAM avanzado, SCPs y automatización de políticas de seguridad.

• Cultura CI/CD: Automatización nativa de pipelines de despliegue (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins o similares).

• Idiomas: Inglés fluido (mínimo B2 alto / C1). Trabajarás diariamente en un entorno internacional con ingenieros, arquitectos y Product Owners de todo el mundo.
