Do you have experience leading critical incident resolution in complex technological environments? We are looking for a senior Major Incident Manager to join our team.

In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability of pre-production (PRE) environments and associated non-production services, leading incident control, driving operational governance, and coordinating multiple technical teams to minimize business impact.

What you'll do

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Major Incident Management: Lead, coordinate, and efficiently resolve Major Incidents in PRE environments to restore service as quickly as possible.

  • Governance and Stability: Conduct daily health checks (health checks), ensure compliance with operational policies, and issue readiness reports (readiness reporting).

  • Proactive Problem Management: Drive root cause analysis (RCA), identify trends, and track preventive actions following incidents.

  • Multidisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate closely with infrastructure, applications, support, development, and testing teams (including the coordination of performance testing).

  • Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and distribute clear, structured, and accurate communications during operational crises and governance forums.

What we're looking for

Mandatory Requirements

  • Experience: More than 5 years of proven experience as a Major Incident Manager (or in closely related Service/Problem Management roles with transferable skills).

  • Languages: Fluent English (C1 level) (Mandatory; technical and English assessments will be conducted during the selection process).

  • Skills: High attention to detail, meticulous approach to documentation, and excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of management.

  • Ability to process data from multiple sources under pressure to assess and prioritize impact and urgency.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity or experience working in pre-production (PRE, UAT, SIT) environments.

  • Previous experience in the banking sector or highly regulated financial environments.

  • Previous technical background in Infrastructure, Software Engineering, Operations, or Production Support.

  • Knowledge of tools: ServiceNow, Jira, PagerDuty, Dynatrace, Splunk, or AppDynamics.

How you'll work

Important:

  • Primary Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Spain time).
