Java Backend Developer - Senior - EY GDS Spain - Hybrid

Within the Digital Engineering area of the Financial Services and Insurance Sector, we help our clients design and implement solutions based on web applications. We are expanding the team with various profiles and capabilities, including backend development.

As a member of our team at the EY GDS office in Malaga, you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and experience working on interesting projects with the latest technologies and approaches. You will support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and participate in digital transformation.

The functions you would perform will depend on your experience and career interests, but will always include:

• Development and orchestration of services and microservices
• Java backend development for web applications with Springboot.
• Staying at the cutting edge of backend development.
• Agile development. You will have autonomy in carrying out your tasks, while also having strong team support.
• Being part of a dynamic team where continuous learning is a priority, at our offices in Malaga.

• Code quality with SonarQube
• Knowledge of continuous deployment tools (Jenkins, Github actions...)
• Image dockerization.

• Microservices with Java Springboot.
• Development of unit tests in Java.
• Code versioning with Git, knowledge of git-flow.

• Master's degree/Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent professional experience.

Dentro del área de Digital Engineering de Sector Financiero y de Seguros, ayudamos a nuestros clientes en el diseño e implementación de soluciones basadas en aplicaciones web. Nos encontramos ampliando el equipo con diversos perfiles y capacidades, entre ellos el desarrollo Back-end.

Como miembro de nuestro equipo en la oficina de EY GDS en Málaga, tendrás la oportunidad de ampliar tu conocimiento y experiencia trabajando en proyectos interesantes con las tecnologías y enfoques más recientes. Apoyarás a los clientes en la elección de la solución empresarial más adecuada y participarás en la transformación digital.

Las funciones que realizarías dependerán de tu experiencia e intereses de evolución, pero siempre incluirán:

• Desarrollo y orquestación de servicios y microservicios
• Desarrollo Back-end Java para aplicaciones web con Springboot.
• Mantenerse en el estado del arte en desarrollo Back-end.
• Desarrollo agile. Tendrás autonomía en el desarrollo de tus tareas, al tiempo que contarás con un gran soporte de equipo.
• Ser parte de un equipo dinámico donde prima el continuous learning, en nuestras oficinas en Málaga.

• Calidad de código con SonarQube
• Conocimiento de herramientas de despliegue continuo (Jenkins, Github actions...)
