Requirements
What we're looking for
- Strong computer science fundamentals and mastery of back-end development
- 7+ years of professional software development experience in technically rigorous environments
- Proficiency in Scala or strong experience in Java with willingness to learn Scala
- Strong understanding of AWS services and serverless architecture
- Excellent understanding of design principles and patterns (OOD, SOLID, DRY, KISS, GRASP) with security-minded development practices
- Strong algorithmic and debugging skills
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, SDLC, Agile methodologies and version control systems
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a global team
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience in Python for scripting or integration
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
- Exposure to container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) and automated deployment practices
- Experience with Apache ZooKeeper or distributed coordination systems
