ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking to incorporate a Senior Civil Engineer for the IFIMF-DONES project. The required profile is a civil engineer with solid experience in infrastructure works, preferably with a track record in large-scale projects, experience in nuclear and industrial projects, participating in the design and development of infrastructures with high technical and regulatory demands, and multidisciplinary coordination.

Main functions:

• Development and design of concrete, steel, and masonry structures according to applicable regulations.
• Performance of advanced structural calculations (including seismic actions, explosions, or impacts).
• Technical analysis and validation of designs, as well as proposing improvements and alternative solutions.
• Preparation of technical specifications, reports, and engineering documentation.
• Coordination with multidisciplinary teams (nuclear, mechanical, electrical, and I&C).
• Interaction with clients, suppliers, and contractors to resolve technical aspects.
• Supervision of field work and verification of the quality and safety of the works.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, especially in highly regulated environments such as nuclear.
• Participate in feasibility studies, inspections, and evaluations of existing structures.
