About the role
Coordinate and supervise the execution, meeting deadlines, controlling costs and customer satisfaction, of the projects assigned to you, following the existing procedures at Lear.
What you'll do
1. Receive the assigned project in its Mechanical Drafting phase. Plan its execution, relying on the Commercial Technicians. 2. Coordinate the work of the different departments involved in each project throughout all its phases: Commercial Technicians, Mechanical Designers, Electrical Designers, Automation Programmers, Procurement, Assembly). For this, it is essential that the Project Manager has a deep understanding of the project's details. 3. Assign and organize, together with the Workshop Supervisor, the Personnel (Workshop, Assembly and Automation Programmers) who will participate in the execution of said project, considering the characteristics and maximizing profitability.
4. Supervise the Mechanical, Electrical and Automation Designs of those projects that require it.
5. Supervise the assembly of the machines in the Workshop, resolving doubts and addressing any problems that may arise.
6. Search for, when necessary, external suppliers for subcontracting the electrical assembly at the customer's site.
7. Follow up on the installation of the machines at the customer's plant, supervising compliance with deadlines and quality of execution.
8. Perform the economic control of the project.
9. Review and control the work reports of the Assemblers participating in the projects under your supervision, authorizing the execution of overtime during the Assembly phase at the customer's site.
10. Act as a liaison between the customer and the Company, both during the development of the project itself, and regarding requests for changes or modifications to the initial project that the customer may raise.
11. Supervise the maintenance of machines that are under warranty and that fall within the projects directed by you.

Experience Requirements
General Education: Industrial Technical Engineer or similar, preferably in automation or related fields.
Specific Education: Electricity. Mechanics. Robotics. Technical knowledge and experience in project management in the sector. Experience in problem-solving.
3 to 5 years of experience as a project manager or in other areas (Quality, Automation,...) with direct client contact.
Communication skills in Spanish and English
Leadership, communication, negotiation skills and ability to deal with clients, project economic management and cost control

What you'll do

Coordinar el trabajo de los distintos Departamentos que participan en cada proyecto a lo largo de todas sus fases: Técnicos Comerciales, Diseñadores Mecánicos, Diseñadores Eléctricos, Programadores de Automatismos, Compras, Montaje). Para esto es preciso que el Jefe de proyecto tenga un conocimiento profundo de los matices del proyecto.3. Designar y organizar, conjuntamente con el Responsable de Taller, al Personal (Taller, Montaje y Programadores de Autómatas) que participará en la ejecución de dicho proyecto teniendo en cuenta las características y mayor rentabilidad del mismo.
4. Supervisar los Diseños Mecánico, Eléctrico y de Automatismos de aquellos proyectos que lo necesiten.
5. Supervisar el montaje de las máquinas en el Taller, solventando dudas y resolviendo los problemas que pudieran plantearse.
6. Buscar, cuando sea preciso, proveedores externos para la subcontratación del montaje eléctrico en las instalaciones del cliente
7. Realizar el seguimiento de la instalación de las máquinas en la planta del cliente, supervisando el cumplimiento de los plazos y la calidad en la ejecución.
8. Realizar el control económico del proyecto.
9. Revisar y controlar los partes de trabajo de los Montadores que participen en los proyectos que supervise, autorizando la realización de horas extras en la fase de Montaje en las instalaciones del cliente.
10. Servir de enlace entre el cliente y la Compañía, tanto en el desarrollo del propio proyecto, como en la petición de reformas y modificaciones del proyecto inicial que pueda plantear el cliente.
11. Supervisar el mantenimiento de las máquinas que estén en periodo de garantía y que estuvieran dentro de proyectos por él dirigidos.
