About Mapit

We are a Spanish IoT and connected mobility company. We design technology — hardware and software — that connects brands like Honda with their customers through solutions that combine IoT, firmware, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence. We have a presence in Spain and Portugal, and we are at a moment of professionalizing our internal processes.

The role and the challenge

Mapit's Customer Support team needs someone who not only resolves tickets, but understands why they come in and how to make fewer of them arrive.

Today we have high volume in Spain, a CRM (HubSpot) that needs optimization, and support data that we are not turning into improvements. We are looking for someone who is the operational bridge between the area manager and the team: someone who executes on a day-to-day basis, but while doing so, detects patterns, proposes improvements, and makes the CRM work for us instead of the other way around, all while implementing AI.

70% of your time will be hands-on operations — tickets, dealers, B2C support. The remaining 30% is where the differential impact lies: optimizing categories and flows in HubSpot and surfacing actionable insights to the team. If you demonstrate value in that analytical side, the role grows toward supporting marketing campaigns and greater strategic weight.

What you'll do

  • Manage B2C tickets and dealer inquiries in Spain, serving as an operational reference alongside the current team.

  • Optimize HubSpot: categories, tags, ticket flows, and propose new structures when the data calls for it (for example: detecting that 40% of tickets fall under "other" and creating categories that reflect the real issues).

  • Build and maintain support metrics: response times, resolution times, CSAT, recurring patterns.

  • Coordinate the team on practical matters — daily priorities, coverage, escalations — without handling the people management side.

  • Escalate complex cases to the technical team with enough context so they don't have to start from scratch.

  • Contribute to the knowledge base and FAQs to help AI reduce ticket volume.

What we're looking for

What you need for this role

Essential

  • 3-4 years in customer support in tech environments (SaaS, IoT, B2B or B2C). We're not looking for experience based on tenure — we're looking for someone who, in those years, has done more than just resolve tickets.

  • Real experience with HubSpot (Service Hub or CRM). You've used it, configured views, touched workflows, or at least know what they are and what they could do.

  • Demonstrated analytical ability: you've worked with support data, drawn conclusions, and proposed changes based on them. If you can share a concrete example, you're on the right track.

  • Native Spanish and functional English (minimum B2), as there is interaction with teams and context in English.

  • Genuine curiosity about AI applied to support (tools you use to work better).

Nice to have

Highly valued (but not a blocker)

  • Experience with Jira or technical escalation tools.

  • Portuguese.

What you'll get

What we offer

  • Own product with real impact, in a team working at the frontier of IoT and artificial intelligence.

  • Permanent contract and competitive salary.

  • Hybrid model (3 days in the office in Barcelona, 2 days remote) and a policy of additional remote days.

  • Flexible hours with Friday afternoons off.

  • Free health insurance.

How you'll work

Permanent

Hiring process

The process

  • First interview with Laura Molina from People (30 min).

  • Second interview with Inés Villafranca, hiring manager (30 min).

  • Final in-person interview with a practical case (1h).

What you need to succeed here

This is not a role where someone will tell you what to do every morning. You need:

  • Real autonomy. You organize, prioritize, and execute without waiting for instructions. If you see something broken, you fix it or propose how to — you don't wait for someone else to notice.

  • A continuous improvement mindset. You don't settle for "that's how it's always been done." When a process doesn't work, you question it with data, not opinions.

  • Comfort with ambiguity. We're 30 people. Not everything is defined. If you need a manual for everything, this isn't the place for you. If you're motivated by building what's missing, it is.

  • Direct communication. You know how to say what you think clearly, adapt your tone to the context (talking to a frustrated customer isn't the same as talking to the technical team), and you don't hide behind email when a phone call resolves things in 2 minutes.

Additional information

We know that no one fits a description 100%. If you have support experience, an analytical mindset, and the drive to build in a team where everything is still to be done, apply even if you don't check every box.
