In this context, we are looking for talent for the Internship position in the Models Team of the Procurement and Wholesale Markets Directorate, primarily responsible for the strategic management of various European and international gas businesses, and the wholesale electricity business, with the objective of maximizing the value of the Wholesale Energy business.

The daily challenges are oriented towards the following tasks:

• Support the analysis of market data and energy variables for the construction and monitoring of quantitative models.

• Collaborate in the development and validation of Python tools to automate analysis and reporting processes.

• Provide support in monitoring the performance of strategies and models in production, identifying potential improvements.

• Participate in forecasting studies, time series, and energy market behavior analysis.

We count on you in our Madrid offices, from where we lead all corporate operations of the group worldwide.

What you need:

Qualification: Final-year undergraduate or Master's student in Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or related degrees.

Specific training:

• Knowledge of Python for data analysis or model development.
• Foundation in statistics, mathematical modeling, forecasting, or time series.
• Desirable interest in energy markets, advanced analytics, and the application of quantitative or machine learning techniques.

En este contexto buscamos talento para la posición de Prácticas en Equipo de Modelos de la Dirección de Aprovisionamientos y Mercados Mayoristas, encargada principalmente de la gestión estratégica de los diferentes negocios de gas europeos e internacionales, y del negocio mayorista de electricidad, con el objetivo de maximizar el valor del negocio Mayorista de Energía.

Los retos del día a día están orientados a las siguientes tareas:

• Apoyar en el análisis de datos de mercado y variables energéticas para la construcción y seguimiento de modelos cuantitativos.

• Colaborar en el desarrollo y validación de herramientas en Python para automatizar procesos de análisis y reporting.

• Dar soporte en el seguimiento del rendimiento de estrategias y modelos en producción, identificando posibles mejoras.

• Participar en estudios de forecasting, series temporales y comportamiento de mercados energéticos.

Lo que necesitas:

Titulación: Estudiante de último curso de Grado o Máster en Ingeniería Industrial, Ingeniería de la Energía, Matemáticas, Estadística, Física, Economía, Data Analytics, Business Analytics o titulaciones afines.

Formación específica:

• Conocimientos de Python para análisis de datos o desarrollo de modelos.
• Base en estadística, modelización matemática, forecasting o series temporales.
• Valorable interés por los mercados energéticos, la analítica avanzada y la aplicación de técnicas cuantitativas o de machine learning.
