As a Cook, you will be responsible for the preliminary preparation, cooking process, plating, or presentation of high-quality dishes to provide an excellent experience for guests.

What you'll do

  • Preparation, production, and organization of the mise-en-place for each service, minimizing product waste. 
  • Ensuring the presentation, quantity, and quality of each dish for service, based on established standards. 
  • Verifying and controlling the correct storage of products, checking the condition of all items to rotate and maintain maximum quality (FIFO). 
  • Receiving, storing, and organizing products for your station. 
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-organized work area. 
  • Reporting any maintenance issues, hygiene concerns, and hazards. 
  • Being aware of the department's goals and striving to achieve them as part of the team. 
  • Following all relevant health department regulations and all customer service guidelines (HACCP).

What are we looking for?

  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a cook, preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity. 
  • Professional training in hospitality/F&B/cooking.
  • Excellent command of the local language is essential, and knowledge of English is highly valued.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
