About the role

Palex Medical wishes to hire a Field Service Engineer for our Technical Department (SAT), with coverage across Iberia.

What you'll do

  • Installation, validation, and commissioning of instruments at customer sites.
  • Diagnosis, preventive and corrective maintenance, both on-site and in the workshop.
  • Specialized technical support for external and internal customers, ensuring an efficient and high-quality response.
  • Remote assistance and telephone support for resolving technical issues.
  • Ongoing communication with the customer to ensure their satisfaction and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Preparation and management of technical documentation and service reports, ensuring their correct and timely delivery.
  • Compliance with internal procedures, quality regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Promotion of maintenance contracts and associated services with strategic customers.
  • Collaboration with commercial and marketing teams in the renewal and growth of the instrument base.

Education & certifications

  • Education in Engineering, Higher Level Training (FP2/CFGS), or a degree in Electronics, Biomedicine, Biotechnology, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of maintenance and diagnosis of microscopy equipment.
  • Experience in Life Science environments.
  • Proficiency in IT tools and technical management systems.
  • Minimum B2 level of English (technical environment).
