About the role

At Palex, we want to bring on board a Product Manager for our specialized oncology unit, with residence in Madrid or the surrounding area.

The selected candidate will join a division and a company experiencing strong growth, within the oncology therapeutic area, with a strong focus on genomic and precision medicine.

What you'll do

  • Managing the lifecycle of assigned products, with a special focus on precision oncology solutions, including platforms based on NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) and MRD (Minimal Residual Disease).
  • Designing, developing, and implementing the brand plan for assigned products, defining objectives, positioning strategy, tactical plans, KPIs, and results tracking, adapted to the local market.
  • Providing scientific and technical support and specialized training to the commercial team, ensuring a deep understanding of the portfolio and its clinical applications.
  • Developing and strengthening strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem (KOLs, oncologists, pathologists, reference laboratories, scientific societies, and hospital decision-makers).
  • Conducting market analysis, competitive monitoring, and identification of emerging trends, identifying clinical needs and growth opportunities.
  • Designing, coordinating, and executing scientific and educational activities, such as webinars, scientific meetings, advisory boards, and medical education events.
  • Leading the preparation, management, and follow-up of tenders and market access processes, in collaboration with the relevant internal teams.
  • Representing the company at national and international congresses and scientific events, as well as in strategic meetings with represented companies and other relevant partners.
  • Gathering, analyzing, and translating market insights and clinical feedback into concrete action plans, working closely with commercial, medical, and market access teams.
  • Collaborating on defining and implementing the positioning and growth strategy for assigned solutions in the local market.

Requirements

The candidate we are looking for must have a university degree in Health Sciences (medicine, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, biosciences, etc.) or a related field. Postgraduate education (MBA, specialized master's degree, or PhD) will be valued. At least 2 years of experience in similar positions within the pharma/medtech industry is also required, with previous experience or knowledge in oncology, precision medicine, molecular diagnostics, biomarkers, NGS, and/or MRD, with direct experience in liquid biopsy testing being highly valued.

Advanced English proficiency (C1) and intermediate to advanced knowledge of Office (PPT, Excel, Word...) are required. Familiarity with internet search tools, medical databases and major digital platforms. Handling of products and/or complex technologies with a strong scientific component
