About the role

At Sener, we want to bring a Supply Chain Engineer into our team, at our Arganda del Rey office.

We are an engineering company pioneering the design of satellite technology and equipment for space exploration. In Defense, we tackle the design and production of equipment and systems, including unmanned ones. Our passion for precision has led us to become trusted partners of the main space agencies, government bodies, and companies.

What you'll do

  • Carry out, end to end, all phases of the purchasing process (analysis and request for quotes, negotiation, bid tabulation, reviews, ordering and data entry into the ERP, invoice verification, etc.), and follow up on each of them in a timely manner to ensure delivery deadlines and compliance with the contracted technical specifications.

  • Supervise, together with the rest of the project team, the proper progress of purchase orders, ensure compliance with the agreed deadlines and those set out in the project schedule, and anticipate containment measures if necessary.

  • Coordinate, together with the technical manager and the Quality Department, the transfer of contractual information applicable to office activation, inspection, and workshop activation, and convene the kick-off meeting to ensure that all parties share all relevant information.

  • Support the qualification manager in supplier qualification processes to ensure an adequate availability of competitive and reliable supply alternatives.

  • Coordinate the logistics schedule with the Project Manager and the Purchasing Manager, reviewing packing lists, import/export license status, pre-shipment and post-shipment documentation, etc., to ensure transport conditions and compliance with delivery deadlines.

  • Carry out all document management, filing, and reporting activities involved in their role across all project phases to guarantee transparency and information security in all processes.

  • Carry out supplier evaluation processes upon order completion, in order to identify improvement opportunities and develop supplier capabilities according to SENER's needs.

What you'll get

These are some of the benefits you will enjoy at Sener:

  • You will have the opportunity to participate in innovative, high-tech international projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary and highly qualified team.

  • Knowledge and handling of ERP systems, production, planning, and purchasing.
