Join our global Treasury team - Transform the everyday

As a Cash Management & Payments Specialist (f/m/d) you will be part of Siemens Corporate Treasury and operate in a dynamic international environment supporting West Europe & Africa (WEA) business.

You will play a key role in driving digital transformation, optimizing banking and payment infrastructures, and strengthening ownership across countries, while contributing to the evolution of Siemens' Treasury of the Future.

This role goes beyond execution: it requires strong ownership, initiative, and the ability to influence stakeholders, ensuring scalable, well-controlled, and resilient treasury operations.

Your mission will be...

Scope & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary Treasury point of contact under WEA scope:
  • Algeria, Belgium, France, Greece, Italy, Morocco, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Tunisia
  • Partner with Siemens Business Units as a trusted advisor on banking and payment topics
  • Engage confidently with stakeholders including CFOs, Accounting, Banks, Shared Services, Legal, and Tax
  • Communicate clearly and present topics effectively
  • Influence decisions, align stakeholders, and drive topics forward proactively
  • Identify inefficiencies, risks, and gaps, and own the resolution end-to-end

Digital Transformation & Payment Innovation

  • Drive the evolution of payment and banking infrastructure across the region
  • Contribute to initiatives including:
    • Real-Time Payments
    • APIs and connectivity (SWIFT, EBICS)
    • ISO 20022 and XML standardization
    • Automation and AI-driven workflows
  • Develop and enhance data-driven tools, dashboards, and reporting capabilities
  • Improve data transparency, quality, and accessibility to support decision-making

Operational Excellence & Banking Management

  • Manage and optimize daily cash management processes, including payment execution, investigations, and issue resolution
  • Monitor and analyze liquidity positions and cash flows, delivering structured insights
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local and global banking partners, covering both operational and contractual aspects
  • Continuously improve bank account structures, payment processes, and connectivity models

Risk Management, Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to treasury policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
  • Actively manage and mitigate Operational (process failures, payment errors, fraud exposure) and Counterparty risk (bank exposure, service reliability, concentration)
  • Strengthen control frameworks by:
    • Embedding preventive and detective controls in daily operations
    • Supporting audits and ensuring remediation of findings
  • Manage bank account lifecycle activities (KYC, attestations, audits) with full accountability
  • Own and continuously improve documentation, standardization, and transparency of processes

Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to global and regional treasury projects, including M&A and transformation initiatives
  • Drive initiatives to simplify, standardize, and automate processes
  • Balance operational delivery with a continuous improvement and transformation mindset
