Requirements
University degree or comparable qualification in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, IT, or a related technical discipline).
3+ years of meaningful professional experience around data management or AI in a globally operating large corporation.
Excellent understanding of business processes, project management, ideally in the rail sector or large scale project business.
Strong knowledge of Data Governance (especially data quality management and metadata management) and experience in implementing strategic data concepts.
High level of personal responsibility, decision-making ability, innovation mindset, and willingness to change, combined with the ability to think and work in a networked, cross-organizational manner; strong teamwork skills and high level of commitment.
Fluent in English, German and additional languages are a plus.
Availability to travel up to 20% internationally

- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the related sub data domain.
- Define and maintain a clear IT and data architecture for the related sub domain - preventing additional silos and redundant tooling.
- Align data needs with Process Owner.
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of all data products within the related sub domain.
- Ensure every data product is backed by a validated use case before development is initiated.
- Drive the integration and linkage of data assets in Collibra.
- Continuously improve and evolve existing data products based on business feedback and changing requirements.
- Define and enforce data governance standards for project-related data assets.
- Monitor and drive improvement of data quality across the related sub domain.
- Ensure proper documentation and cataloguing of all data assets in Collibra.
- Identify and address compliance gaps
