Backup & Storage Administrator

What will you do on a day-to-day basis?

You will join a multidisciplinary Backup & Storage administration team for a major international client.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Administration and management of Veeam Backup & Replication infrastructures.
• Participation in implementation projects, collaborating with other areas.
• Management of upgrades and migrations of infrastructure environments.
• Resolution of requests, incidents, problems, and execution of changes related to backup infrastructures.
• Generation of documentation and procedures.
• Tuning, maintenance, and upgrade tasks.

The following will be positively valued:

• Experience with NetApp storage systems.
• Experience with HPE Recovery Manager Central, RMC, or NetApp SnapCenter in backup infrastructures.
• Experience with HPE 3PAR arrays in storage infrastructure.
• Experience with HPE StoreOnce data protection systems.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Backup & Storage administrator, especially with Veeam Backup & Replication.
• Experience in administering backup infrastructures, with autonomy and responsibility.
• Experience with Brocade SANNav and SAN infrastructure management.
• High level of English, minimum B2.

¿Qué harás en tu día a día?

Te incorporarás a un equipo multidisciplinar de administración Backup & Storage para un gran cliente internacional.

Entre tus principales funciones estarán:

• Administración y gestión de infraestructuras de Veeam Backup & Replication.
• Participación en proyectos de implementación, colaborando con otras áreas.
• Gestión de upgrades y migraciones de entornos de infraestructura.
• Resolución de peticiones, incidencias, problemas y ejecución de cambios relacionados con infraestructuras de backup.
• Generación de documentación y procedimientos.
• Tareas de tuning, mantenimiento y upgrades.

Se valorará positivamente:

• Experiencia con sistemas de almacenamiento NetApp.
• Experiencia con HPE Recovery Manager Central, RMC, o NetApp SnapCenter en infraestructuras de backup.
• Experiencia con cabinas HPE 3PAR en infraestructura de almacenamiento.
• Experiencia con sistemas de protección de datos HPE StoreOnce.
