What are we looking for?

🔹 Vocational training in Bodywork, Painting, Automotive, or equivalent training and/or demonstrable experience in body and paint work in authorized workshops or companies within the sector.

🔹Minimum 3/5 years of experience in bodywork repairs and painting processes, preferably with industrial or commercial vehicles.

🔹Knowledge of straightening techniques, use of bodywork tools, light welding (if applicable), use of fillers, and priming and painting procedures.

🔹Ability to mix and match colors, use spray guns and application equipment, and control drying and curing parameters according to product and manufacturer specifications.

🔹Handling of manual and electrical tools specific to the trade and experience in paint booths and extraction and lighting systems for the final finish.

🔹Organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality in the delivery of work.

🔹Basic handling of workshop computer systems to record work orders and internal communications.

🔹Type B driver's license. Higher licenses or experience with industrial vehicles will be valued.

🔹Residency in the area with availability for occasional travel.

About the position

Do you have experience as a Body and Paint Technician or would you like to make the leap into this sector? This could be your opportunity! We are looking for people eager to work in Alicante

💡 What you will do on a daily basis:

✔️Repair of bodywork damage: straightening, replacement, and assembly of panels, reinforcements, and auxiliary structures following manufacturer procedures and blueprints.

✔️Surface preparation: cleaning, rust removal, sanding, primer treatment, and application of fillers and sealants to ensure a robust and durable finish.

✔️Application of paints and varnishes: mixing paints, color matching, spray gun application, and drying and baking processes according to technical specifications and environmental standards.

✔️Disassembly and assembly of interior and exterior components when necessary for repair and protection of adjacent elements.

✔️Inspection and quality control of the finish: verification of color, texture, adhesion, and gloss levels before delivery to the customer.

✔️Work order management: recording interventions, times, materials consumed, and communication with the parts department for replacement parts and paint supplies.

✔️Collaboration with the workshop, after-sales, and commercial teams to coordinate delivery deadlines, budgets, and follow-up on technical and aesthetic incidents.

✔️Compliance with safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations in the use and management of paint products and solvents, as well as participation in continuous improvement actions and technical training.

What we offer

🎯 Contract: Temporary

💰 Salary: €25,000 - €26,600

📅 Schedule: SHIFT 1: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, SHIFT 2: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM + SATURDAYS from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
