About the role

We are looking for Depot Specialists to support the daily operations of autonomous vehicle (AV) and robotaxi fleets in Europe.

As a Depot Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that autonomous vehicles are clean, charged, inspected, and ready for deployment each day. From a dedicated robotaxi depot, you will support vehicle preparation, fleet readiness, inventory management, and depot operations that enable safe and reliable autonomous ride-hailing services.

This role is suited to people who enjoy hands-on work, are highly organized, and thrive in fast-paced operational environments. No prior experience with autonomous vehicles is required—full training will be provided.

By joining the team, you will directly contribute to the launch, operation, and scaling of robotaxi fleets and autonomous mobility services across multiple European cities.

What you'll do

  • Prepare autonomous vehicles for daily fleet operations.
  • Ensure each vehicle is cleaned, inspected, charged, and ready for deployment before the start of each shift.
  • Check the condition of cameras, LiDAR, radar, mirrors, sensors, windows, and interiors to support self-driving system performance.
  • Perform pre-deployment and post-shift inspections according to established procedures.
  • Monitor battery levels and charging schedules for autonomous electric vehicles.
  • Support daily depot operations by coordinating vehicle movements, parking, charging, and positioning.
  • Assist with vehicle dispatch and return processes.
  • Organize parking areas to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Maintain depot cleanliness and ensure work areas meet safety standards.
  • Coordinate vehicle availability with Safety Operators, Technicians, and Operations Leads.
  • Perform basic functional checks on vehicles before deployment.
  • Check tires, lighting, fluid levels, charging equipment, and overall vehicle condition.
  • Identify cosmetic damage or operational issues that may require technical inspection.
  • Escalate maintenance needs to Senior Technicians or SDS Specialists.
  • Support vehicle recovery and transport activities as needed.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, charging accessories, PPE, and operational equipment.
  • Track inventory usage and report replenishment needs.
  • Receive deliveries and organize depot storage areas.
  • Assist with logistics required for fleet expansion and new depot launches.
  • Complete digital inspection checklists and fleet readiness reports.
  • Record vehicle status, charging information, and operational observations.
  • Follow depot safety procedures and company operational standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase fleet availability, reduce downtime, and improve operational efficiency.

What we're looking for

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Comfortable driving both electric and conventional vehicles.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Upper-intermediate English proficiency.

Nice to have

  • Experience in fleet operations, logistics, warehousing, auto detailing, or transportation.
  • Experience with electric vehicles (EVs).
  • Basic mechanical knowledge.
  • Experience working in 24/7 operational environments.
  • Forklift certification or logistics experience is a plus.

What you'll get

  • Opportunity to work on some of the most advanced autonomous vehicle programs in Europe.
  • Hands-on experience with cutting-edge electric and autonomous vehicles.
  • Full onboarding and operational training.
  • Long-term career opportunities in fleet operations, autonomous mobility, and depot management.
  • Exposure to depot management, fleet readiness, vehicle operations, and commercial autonomous ride-hailing services.
  • Collaborative work environment with Safety Operators, Technicians, and Fleet Operations teams.
  • Opportunity to support new city launches, depot setup, and fleet expansion for autonomous ride-hailing across Europe.

Required profile

Successful Depot Specialists are highly organized, detail-oriented, and understand that vehicle availability is critical to the success of autonomous fleet operations.

You enjoy structured work, have excellent attention to detail, and understand the importance of ensuring every autonomous vehicle leaves the depot clean, charged, and ready for service.

No prior experience with autonomous vehicles or robotics is required—full training will be provided on all procedures and systems.
