This is a role that, honestly, is the first time we are recruiting for, and yes, we like to experiment with new profiles that we believe can do things differently. (This is something you will experience within Ucademy). We don't believe that everything must follow a set pattern; we like to change ideas and step outside of what we've always been told things "should be".

🤔 Wait, what is a Founder Associate?

Good question. It is a role that has only recently appeared in Spain but is already common in Europe's top startups.

The idea is simple: founders have too much on their minds. Strategy, product, team, investors, operations... and as the company grows, there are more things than one single person can handle well.

The Founder Associate is the person who dives into that chaos and organizes it. Not from the outside, simply by giving "orders," because that's not how we work here. We expect this profile to be working from the inside, getting their hands dirty, working side-by-side with one of the founders.

Think of it as being the person who learns about the entire business and acts as an extension of the founders in everything that matters. (And furthermore, all your ideas will have a real impact)

We were born in 2021 with an Amazon whiteboard and an Instagram live. Literally.

Today we are more than 120 people helping thousands of students prepare for competitive exams, university entrance exams, and vocational training (FP) - combining pedagogy, technology, and AI.

Ucademy is divided into three universes: Polaris (competitive exams), Atlas (University Entrance), and Explora FP. And we continue to grow.

Ramiro Zandrino CEO & Co-founder

Argentine raised in Spain who traded his dream of being a soccer player for the dream of entrepreneurship. He founded Ucademy from scratch, without initial investment, and has led it to become one of the most relevant edtechs in Southern Europe.

He is the type of person who thinks fast, changes priorities without warning, has 40 ideas a day, and needs someone to help him turn that chaos into execution. That person is you.

🎯 Your mission

Multiply the capacity of Ramiro. As simple as that. As complex as that.

There is no fixed scope because the business doesn't have one. One week you prepare the presentation for investors. The next, you uncover why a team is stuck. The next, you build from scratch the tracking system for a project that no one was following. And so on.

Your job is to ensure Ramiro can focus on what only he can do. You take care of the rest. And "the rest" is the most interesting part.

🧬 The fitting profile

You have probably already been in an environment where no one tells you exactly what to do, and you like that; it doesn't paralyze you.

At a minimum, we expect you to have spent 2 years experiencing building things from scratch in a startup

You have high ambition (for life in general). You don't mind doing "small" things if they have a real impact. But you also don't settle - you always see how to improve what is in front of you.

You are the type of person who sees a problem and acts before anyone asks. And then you report it, because you also know how to communicate.
