We want to recruit an Academic Coordinator for the Master's Degree in International Trade Law at the Faculty of Law.

Under the Academic Directorate, and with the support of various cross-functional departments of the University, the Academic Coordinator will contribute to the proper functioning and continuous improvement of the Faculty regarding academic management and coordination of processes affecting students and professors:

  • Promote the growth of the degree program with cross-functional Departments.

  • Enhance the institutional development of the degree program through the signing of alliances, agreements, representation at conferences, and other dissemination activities in the field of security and terrorism.

  • Implement common criteria in academic organization and teaching planning.

  • Meet the growth objectives of the degree program.

  • Support in the selection process, talent search, and recruitment of candidates.

  • Coordinate the internal organization of the degree program in accordance with the Faculty's guidelines.

  • Coordinate the processes for updating the Faculty's information system.

  • Coordinate student support processes.

  • Maintain regular communication with students, inform them, and incorporate their proposals.

  • Ensure the adaptation of teachings and services to the needs of the security, terrorism prevention, and radicalization fields.

  • Hold regular faculty meetings with the teaching staff of the degree program.

  • Address issues raised by students and the teaching faculty.

  • Foster networking among students.

  • Participate in designing annual improvement plans for the degree program and drive their execution.

  • Receive and channel improvement proposals.

  • Coordinate student satisfaction analysis.

Minimum requirements:

  • PhD in Law.

  • Accredited specialization in Private International Law (international trade or international contracting), demonstrable through teaching/research experience and/or professional practice in the area.

  • University teaching experience in related subjects and ability to coordinate teaching highly focused on real-world cases.

  • Experience in university academic management and knowledge of quality processes, verification, monitoring, and university degree programs at ANECA.

  • Ability to organize, plan, and coordinate teaching teams.

  • Ability to work and organize with cross-functional departments

  • Strong orientation towards quality and continuous improvement in academic management.

  • International professional network and participation in forums/activities with sector institutions.

  • Residence in Spain.
