Original Advert
Gerry's School Catral is a small English Academy (approx' 250 students from four years old up) located in the village of Catral near Orihuela. We opened in 2005 and have since built up a reputation for excellence in the preparation of Cambridge exams and assisting our students to become proficient English users. We are looking for two teachers to join our team to help us maintain the standards we have become known for.
We are looking for two English teachers to be part of our team starting in September. Our teachers must love what they do and can transmit this love of the language to our students in a fun and professional way. Our core team have been working together for a long time and we value the connection that enables us to all work together in a friendly and productive way. Our students and parents know all of us and together we try to do what is best for them. We want our new teachers to fit into this style of team with ease and help us to continue growing.
Personality:
We are looking for teachers who love what they do and can transmit this love of the language to our students in a fun and professional way. Our core team have been working together for a long time and we value the connection that enables us to all work together in a friendly and productive way. Our students and parents know all of us and together we try to do what is best for them. We want our new teachers to fit into this style of team with ease and help us to continue growing.
Responsibilities:
The job consists of giving classes to students in a group, with a maximum of 8 students. The classes should always be interesting and dynamic , where there are always games or activities that are fun and attractive for the students. One important part of a teachers job is providing feedback not only in the form of daily attendance and mock exam results but also in the feedback from the classes. We try to maintain an atmosphere in the classes in which every student gets what they need to progress. The information we get from the teachers helps us immensely in this as we believe that our teachers can best assess their own students and relay any concerns to us so that we can react in a timely way.
