About the role

In this environment of innovation and commitment, we are looking for an Occupational Risk Prevention Technician based in La Palma 📍.  Their main role will be to take responsibility for activities related to the health and safety of Veolia workers at the facilities of one of our clients, located in the Breña Baja area.

What you'll do

  • Carrying out investigations and analysis of accidents that occur in the work environment.
  • Training and informing workers in a culture of prevention.
  • Managing the planning and implementation of preventive measures.
  • Preparing risk assessments.
  • Acting quickly and efficiently in emergency situations or workplace accidents.
  • Carrying out monitoring and evaluation activities for implemented measures and improvements.
  • Collaborating with and advising different departments on the implementation of prevention at all levels.
  • Preparation and execution of Legal Preventive Audits.   
  • Carrying out safety visits at assigned workplaces/sites.

Requirements

  • Education: University Degree
  • Essential: Master's degree in the three specialities (Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Applied Ergonomics and Psychosociology).
  • At least 1 year of experience as an Occupational Risk Prevention Technician in works/facility maintenance.
