Senior Occupational Risk Prevention Technician - Breña Baja

In this environment of innovation and commitment, we are looking for an Occupational Risk Prevention Technician based in La Palma 📍.  Their main role will be to take responsibility for activities related to the health and safety of Veolia workers at the facilities of one of our clients, located in the Breña Baja area. 

👉What will your main duties be?

• Carrying out investigations and analysis of accidents that occur in the work environment.
• Training and informing workers in a culture of prevention.
• Managing the planning and implementation of preventive measures.
• Preparing risk assessments.
• Acting quickly and efficiently in emergency situations or workplace accidents.
• Carrying out monitoring and evaluation activities for implemented measures and improvements.
• Collaborating with and advising different departments on the implementation of prevention at all levels.
• Preparation and execution of Legal Preventive Audits.   
• Carrying out safety visits at assigned workplaces/sites.

Quality / Health / Safety / Environment

• Education: University Degree
• Essential: Master's degree in the three specialities (Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Applied Ergonomics and Psychosociology).
• At least 1 year of experience as an Occupational Risk Prevention Technician in works/facility maintenance.

En este entorno de innovación y compromiso, buscamos a un/a Técnico/a de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales con ubicación en La Palma 📍.  Su función principal será responsabilizarse de las actividades relacionadas con seguridad y salud de los trabajadores de Veolia en las instalaciones de uno de sus clientes, ubicado en la zona de Breña Baja. 

👉¿Cuáles serán tus funciones principales?

• Llevar a cabo las investigaciones y el análisis de los accidentes que ocurran en el entorno de trabajo.
• Formar e informar a los trabajadores en la cultura de prevención.
• Encargarse de la planificación y aplicación de medidas preventivas.
• Elaborar las evaluaciones de riesgos.
• Actuar de manera rápida y eficiente ante situaciones de emergencia o accidentes laborales.
• Realizar las actividades de seguimiento y evaluación de las medidas y mejoras implementadas.
• Colaborar y asesorar a los distintos departamentos en la implantación de la prevención a todos los niveles.
• Preparación y ejecución de auditorías Legales Preventivas.   
• Realizar visitas de seguridad en los centros de trabajo/ obras asignados.

Quality / Health / Safety / Environment

• Formación: Grado Universitario
• Imprescindible: Máster en las tres especialidades (Seguridad en el Trabajo, higiene Industrial y Ergonomía y psicosociología Aplicada).
• Experiencia de al menos 1 año como Técnico/a de Prevención de Riesgos en obras/mantenimiento de instalaciones.
