About the role

The position would fall within the Energy 💡 area, where we seek to improve efficiency and reduce consumption and emissions in buildings, industries and cities.

In this environment of innovation and commitment, we are looking for an Occupational Risk Prevention Technician based in La Palma 📍.  Their main role will be to take responsibility for activities related to the health and safety of Veolia workers at the facilities of one of our clients, located in the Breña Baja area. 

What you'll do

  • Carrying out investigations and analysis of accidents that occur in the work environment.
  • Training and informing workers in a culture of prevention.
  • Handling the planning and implementation of preventive measures.
  • Preparing risk assessments.
  • Acting quickly and efficiently in emergency situations or workplace accidents.
  • Carrying out monitoring and evaluation activities for the measures and improvements implemented.
  • Collaborating with and advising the different departments on the implementation of prevention at all levels.
  • Preparation and execution of Preventive Legal audits.   
  • Carrying out safety visits at the assigned workplaces/sites.
