In this environment of innovation and commitment, we are looking for an Occupational Risk Prevention Technician based in La Palma 📍.  Your main role will be to take responsibility for the activities related to the safety and health of Veolia workers at the facilities of one of our clients, located in the Breña Baja area.

  • Carrying out investigations and analysis of accidents occurring in the workplace.
  • Training and informing workers on the culture of prevention.
  • Planning and implementing preventive measures.
  • Preparing risk assessments.
  • Acting quickly and efficiently in emergency or workplace accident situations.
  • Carrying out monitoring and evaluation activities for implemented measures and improvements.
  • Collaborating with and advising the different departments on the implementation of prevention at all levels.
  • Preparation and execution of Legal Preventive audits.   
  • Conducting safety visits at the assigned workplaces/sites.

  • Education: University Degree
  • Required: Master's degree in all three specialties  (Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Applied Ergonomics and Psychosociology of Work).
  • Experience of at least 6 months.
