About the role

From Adecco Selection, we collaborate with a leading group in the supply of efficient and sustainable solutions for the automotive sector. We are looking to hire a Quality Engineer for one of their plants in Burgos.

What you'll do

Main duties:

  • Ensure product quality in the plant, verifying that parts meet specifications.
  • Manage quality incidents, analyzing causes and proposing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate on the continuous improvement of the quality system and the standardization of processes.
  • Audit system, product, and process.
  • Manage and document internal and external non-conformities.
  • Control and record non-conforming product.
  • Perform tests and trials, including destructive testing.
  • Analyze production data using statistical tools (SPC, R&R).
  • Prepare quality documentation for clients and for homologation processes (PPAP, first articles).
  • Supervise measuring, calibration, and inspection equipment.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Act as the point of contact with clients and suppliers on quality matters.
  • Keep the quality system documentation up to date.
  • Work directly in the plant, in coordination with production.

Requirements

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Organization, or a related field.
  • English level B2/C1.
  • Previous experience in the automotive sector is a plus.
  • Knowledge of quality tools (Core Tools: FMEA, PPAP, APQP, MSA).
  • Knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control).
  • Valuable experience in internal audits and automotive regulations (IATF, VDA).
  • Valuable experience with SAP (quality module).
  • Driver's license and own vehicle.

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
