Position Objective

Specify and monitor manufacturing process conditions in assigned areas. Promote continuous

improvement and collaborate on technical problem-solving. Propose process improvements to ensure organizational objectives related to Safety, Environment, Quality, Cost, and Delivery (SEQCD) are met.

Responsibilities

:

  • Analyze manufacturing/component quality issues to define root causes and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Validate new equipment and processes in collaboration with various plant departments and the Technical Center.
  • Develop, issue, and maintain up-to-date technical work procedures and standard practices for assigned manufacturing processes.
  • Identify, classify, analyze, and prioritize improvement opportunities across various processes, both technically and from a management perspective.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects, executing the PDCA/DMAIC cycle.
  • Analyze process parameters and monitoring indicators, investigating trends, issues, and deviations, and proposing solutions to ensure better outcomes.
  • Participate in the development, validation, and documentation of new materials, production processes, manufacturing equipment, and products.
  • Develop necessary tests for the industrialization of new processes and/or products.

Experience (years):

  • Minimum of two years of experience in the automotive sector, preferably in the automotive, consumer goods, or pharmaceutical sectors. Preferably with experience leading improvement projects.
