Requirements
Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
Experience: At least 3 years in Production, Manufacturing Engineering or Planning & Production Control is required.
Soft skills: Strong conflict management skills with a track record of fostering a collaborative environment.
Languages: Advanced level in Spanish & English (both written and spoken) is required.
Technical knowledge: Proven ability to implement continuous improvement methodologies in order to:
Reduce costs and lead times.
Innovate and digitalize processes.
Valuable / Nice to have:
Experience in A330 MRTT conversion, A/C disassembly/assembly, refurbishing and functional test processes.
Experience in organization and supervision of production groups and subcontracted companies.
Knowledge of IT tools like: SIPLA, Digital, Bar Chart, DEMAT, CATIA, SNT.
Knowledge of regulations Part 145 and 21.

Job Description:
An opportunity has arisen on the FAL A330 MRTT for a Production Engineer specialized in A/C Assembly & Disassembly, System Installation and Functional Test within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).
RESPONSIBILITIES
The jobholder will be responsible of the A/C conversion activities assigned by the Head Of the A/C zone.
Main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Manage the multifunctional team established within TAOTT4 under his/her responsibility to achieve the delivery goals without pending works, integrating all functions assigned: Production, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Planning & Production Control, etc. as well as resources assigned; human, infrastructure, tooling, industrial means, etc.
- Manage a diverse team of Airbus shopfloor managers, electricians, mechanics and maintenance & testing technicians, as well as several subcontractors' companies working in the same A/C zone.
- Ensure coordination across different TAOTT´s zones to reach AG2 objectives.
- Ensure a proper workload-capacity with right competencies.
- Ensure that Health & Safety, Quality, FOD, DIM and House Keeping standards are known and followed by all stakeholders working on his/her area of responsibility.
- Drive continuous improvement and the Operational Excellence in the area.
- Guarantee VOC (Voice of the Customer) communication in the area, promoting actions to improve customer satisfaction.
- Lead the cultural transformation towards a more efficient organization.
- Act as a role model in the regarding Health & Safety, team engagement, energy, Airbus values and ethics & compliance.
