As a Plastic Injection trainee in Valeo Martos, you will be in charge of supporting injection tooling (molds) development of new headlamp and rearlamp for top car makers in the world, working in a fast paced, international and multicultural environment.

Your challenges?

  • You analyze the technical feasibility of single or multi-color injected aesthetic parts

  • You create the specific technical specifications (for predefined parts) for the molds intended for consultation with our mold suppliers

  • You analyze and verify the 3D designs of the molds using CATIA V5 according to a predefined procedure and with a view to launching their manufacturing

  • You monitor the mold tuning phase before transferring them to our production sites

  • You participate with our production teams in the trials and final tuning of the molds once their realization is complete

  • You take charge of short, specific missions on targeted technical subjects related to our plastics engineering activity (e.g., film overmolding, mold pressure sensors, etc.

  • You will be in direct contact with the R&D, Projects, and English-speaking supplier teams

Let's talk about you...

  • You hold an engineering degree in plastics engineering with an appreciation for innovation

  • Ideally, you already have experience in this field

  • You have a fluent level of English and Spanish

  • Your training or experience has allowed you to develop real writing skills. Your rigor and organizational capacity are also prerequisites for this role with varied missions

  • You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking

  • You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy

  • If you already have knowledge of the CATIA V5 CAD software. That's even better!
