About the role

Define, develop, and implement software design patterns, standards, and reliable, secure, cost-effective, and durable coding practices, aligned with Architecture, Security, and Infrastructure standards. Foster the adoption of these practices within development teams and act as a technical reference in connectivity and agreements, ensuring robust and scalable solutions that support the efficient integration of agreements and brokers.

What you'll do

  • Participate in the development of projects or modules related to connectivity and agreements, contributing best practices in design and code.
  • Monitor the incident service and BAU tasks in collaboration with the internal team and provider, ensuring operational continuity.
  • Acquire and maintain functional knowledge of the connectivity and agreements area: processes, services, architecture, and existing agreements (EIAC standard).
  • Provide support in functional business testing, ensuring the correct validation of developments.
  • Evaluate developments and technological solutions provided by external vendors, ensuring their alignment with standards and requirements.
  • Facilitate the integration of agreements and brokers: user onboarding, EIAC file downloads, use of MisFicheros, and connectivity service testing.
  • Act as the main point of contact with internal and external teams (agreement technology providers and AXA providers).
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations in all developments and integrations.
  • Be the technological reference in connectivity and agreements: EIAC, the onboarding process for new agreements, how APIs and connectivity services work.

Education & certifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science.

Experience

  • At least 5 years in insurance sector projects, with proven experience in technical analysis and development of J2EE applications and application architecture.

Technical knowledge and proven experience (advanced level)

  • Java/J2EE
  • REST, JSON, JMS, Web Services, Batch
  • Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
  • Programming in UNIX/Linux environments (shell scripts)
  • CI tools: GitHub, Jenkins, Sonar, Selenium, JMeter, OpenShift, Docker, RedHat, Artifactory
