About the role

We are looking to bring an Occupational Therapist on board at our Ballesol Logroño residence who shares our dedication and contributes to improving the quality of life of the elderly through programs focused on rehabilitation, stimulation, and maintaining functional abilities.

What you'll do

  • Assess the functional capacity and level of autonomy of residents (evaluation of basic and instrumental activities of daily living).
  • Design individualized programs for the maintenance or improvement of activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Conduct cognitive stimulation workshops (in collaboration with Psychology), crafts, psychomotricity, and therapeutic leisure (in coordination with TASOC).
  • Conduct gerontogymnastics workshops.
  • Adapt environments, objects, and technical aids to promote autonomy.
  • Promote social integration and participation in collective activities.
  • Collaborate in the prevention of physical and cognitive deterioration.
