We are looking to hire a Nurse at our Ballesol Reus residence to provide comprehensive, close, and quality healthcare, contributing to the well-being and health of our residents in a humane and trusting environment.

What you'll do

  • Monitor and record the vital signs and weight of the elderly, carrying out clinical follow-up together with the auxiliary team.
  • Administer medication prescribed by the medical team, coordinating the preparation and distribution with auxiliary healthcare or pharmacy staff, and supervising correct intake together with SPV and geriatric aides.
  • Apply topical treatments, perform dressings and nursing techniques, such as cannulating lines, placing and changing catheters or ostomy bags, monitoring blood glucose, and administering medication subcutaneously, intravenously, or intramuscularly.
  • Detect and act on possible medical emergencies, applying established protocols and mobilizing the necessary resources effectively and safely.
  • Provide health education to both families and center staff, promoting good practices and healthy habits.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, providing relevant information about the clinical condition of residents.
