Due - Nurse at Residential Care Facility (Ballesol Salvador Allende)

We are looking to incorporate a Nurse into our Ballesol Salvador Allende residence to guarantee comprehensive, close, and quality healthcare, contributing to the well-being and health of our residents in a humane and trusting environment.

• Monitor and record residents' vital signs and weight, carrying out clinical follow-up together with the auxiliary team.
• Administer medication prescribed by the medical team, coordinating preparation and distribution with auxiliary healthcare staff or the pharmacy, and supervising correct intake together with nursing assistants and geriatric care aides.
• Apply topical treatments, perform dressings and nursing techniques, such as cannulation, placement and changing of catheters or ostomy bags, blood glucose monitoring, and administration of medication via subcutaneous, intravenous, or intramuscular routes.
• Detect and respond to potential medical emergencies, applying established protocols and mobilizing the necessary resources effectively and safely.
• Provide health education and care guidance to both family members and center staff, promoting good practices and healthy habits.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, providing relevant information about the clinical status of residents.

• Fixed-term contract (6 months) with the option for continuity.
• Part-time schedule with a fixed afternoon shift (2:40 PM - 10:00 PM) from Monday to Sunday with rotating days off. You will work two days per week.

As a nurse, you will be responsible for providing personalized and continuous healthcare to residents, ensuring the correct administration of treatments and clinical follow-up for each person. Your role is key within the multidisciplinary team, coordinating care assistance and promoting health education among professionals, residents, and families.

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing
• MANDATORY Homologation by the Ministry of Education, in the case of foreign qualifications
• Registered with the corresponding Official College of Nursing and up to date with professional membership obligations.
• Preferably at least one year of previous experience in the geriatric field and knowledge of the user profile of residences.

Buscamos incorporar a un/a Enfermero/a en nuestra residencia Ballesol Salvador Allende que garantice una atención sanitaria integral, cercana y de calidad, contribuyendo al bienestar y la salud de nuestros residentes en un entorno humano y de confianza.

• Controlar y registrar las constantes vitales y el peso de los residentes, realizando el seguimiento clínico junto con el equipo auxiliar.
• Administrar la medicación pautada por el equipo médico, coordinando la preparación y reparto con el personal auxiliar sanitario o de farmacia, y supervisando la correcta toma junto con SPV y gerocultores/as.
• Aplicar tratamientos tópicos, realizar curas y técnicas propias de enfermería, como canalización de vías, colocación y cambio de sondas o bolsas de ostomía, control de glucemia y administración de medicación por vía subcutánea, intravenosa o intramuscular.
• Detectar y actuar ante posibles urgencias médicas, aplicando los protocolos establecidos y movilizando los recursos necesarios de manera eficaz y segura.
• Educar en salud y cuidados tanto a familiares como al personal del centro, fomentando buenas prácticas y hábitos saludables.
• Participar en reuniones interdisciplinares, aportando información relevante sobre el estado clínico de los residentes.

• Contrato temporal (6 meses) con opción a continuidad.
• Jornada parcial en turno fijo de tarde (14.40-22.00h) de lunes a domingo con libranzas rotativas. Se trabaja dos días a la semana.

Como enfermero/a te encargaras de ofrecer una atención sanitaria personalizada y continua a los residentes, asegurando la correcta administración de tratamientos y el seguimiento clínico de cada persona. Su papel es clave dentro del equipo multidisciplinar, coordinando la atención asistencial y promoviendo la educación en salud entre profesionales, residentes y familias.

• Diplomatura o Grado de Enfermería
• IMPRESCINDIBLE Homologación por el Ministerio de Educación, en caso de titulaciones extranjeras
• Estar inscrito/a en el Colegio Oficial de Enfermería correspondiente y al corriente de las obligaciones colegiales.
• Deseable al menos un año experiencia previa en el ámbito geriátrico y conocimientos sobre el perfil de usuario de residencias.
