We are looking to incorporate an Occupational Therapist into our residence in Serrería (Valencia) who shares our commitment to service and contributes to improving the quality of life of the elderly through rehabilitation, stimulation, and maintenance of functional abilities programs.

What you'll do

  • Assess the physical and functional condition of residents, designing and applying treatment programs aimed at achieving the maximum possible autonomy.
  • Select and apply the most appropriate physiotherapy techniques and therapies to improve the health, mobility, and well-being of each resident.
  • Actively participate in the center's multidisciplinary team, providing a comprehensive perspective and coordinating joint interventions for holistic care.
  • Inform, advise, and train auxiliary staff on action guidelines related to transfers, mobilizations, and other physiotherapy-specific techniques, ensuring the safety and proper handling of residents.
  • Collaborate on preventive and physical health promotion activities, adapted to the individual and collective needs of the center.
  • Record and monitor treatments, communicating progress and any incidents to the healthcare team and families when necessary.
