Waiter/Waitress Assistant

The waiter/waitress assistant participates in operational support activities for food and beverage service, carrying out preparation tasks, setup, customer service, and cleanup. They always work under the supervision of a waiter or superior, contributing to the proper development of service in the dining room, bar, or events.

Main duties:

- Support in the restaurant under the supervision of a waiter or superior.
- Basic customer service, especially on the terrace and at the bar.
- Occasionally taking drink orders.
- Setting up and organizing furniture when necessary and always under supervision.
- Opening and closing the assigned work area, at the beginning or end of service.
- Preparing materials and products for service.
- Checking, restocking, and basic inventory control of materials and beverages.
- Completing daily service reports.
- Simple event setups (restocking, setting up coffee machines, moving tables, boards, notebooks, pens, etc.).
- Carrying out tasks following the instructions of a superior.

El ayudante de camarero/a participa en las actividades de apoyo operativo al servicio de comidas y bebidas, ejecutando tareas de preparación, montaje, atención al cliente y recogida.
