We are looking for a Manager profile with solid experience in strategic consulting, technological transformation, and operational efficiency within the field of Financial Crime Prevention, capable of leading strategic initiatives within the framework of Fraud and AML (Anti-Money Laundering).
The selected person will lead the definition, implementation, evolution, and use of unified financial crime prevention solutions with a focus on the customer and the end-user of the technology, collaborating closely with Engineering, Business, and Risk teams, as well as external teams and cross-sector cooperation teams.
We lead transformation initiatives that contribute to building a unified, global, and advanced financial crime prevention ecosystem at BBVA to lead the change in the sector and the industry.
Responsibilities:
Govern and drive strategic and technological initiatives oriented toward the prevention of fraud and money laundering (AML).
Lead the functional and technological definition of capabilities associated with Fraud Prevention and AML: Screening, transaction monitoring, behavioral analytics, alert & case management, and reporting.
Ensure efficient integration between the Bank's core systems, external systems, analytical platforms, and monitoring tools—both local and global or sectoral—within regulated environments.
Act as a strategic and technological consulting reference for business and operations areas, identifying opportunities for improvement, efficiency, and automation.
Guarantee the correct execution of projects under Agile methodologies, ensuring alignment with budgetary, regulatory, operational, and business requirements.
Actively participate in technological innovation initiatives related to artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, automation, and the evolution of Fraud and AML prevention platforms to lead the sector's solutions.
Define and supervise operating and governance models for Financial Crime Prevention technologies.
Requirements:
